Well i have found a key fob on ebay finally, is it possible to programme the new key without the original key?

well when i open the doors with the key its forever going off i looked on the alarm and its amr 2109 on the alarm ecu which according to what ive read if it does need one it would be a single button one?

I have only had my discovery 300 tdi for about 3 weeks now, the gent who i bought it from said the alarm goes off now and again well this has got more frequent, i only have a key he didnt give me a fob now my previous 96 discovery 300 commercial had a key fob so should this one have one? if so...
