I would take a guess at faulty cylinders, what make was they? Never tested the pressure in a brake system but would imagine when some one pulls out on you and you stamp on the peddle the pressure is as high if not higher than tyre pressure.

Welcome along. Pretty sure all parts are available, not had trouble finding stuff for my old girl. Google is your friend. Use mine for work apart from when she has a strop and don't start, I find if you talk nice to her and let her play in the mud every now and then she will be good to you.

You can get a bike rack that fastens to the tow bar, google it and something should come up. I do question your choice of bike though, we call the crf450 whacker plates, at work. Orange all the way.;)
