An 88 roof is light, an 88 TROPICAL roof is feckin heavy. I can only imagine a 109 tropical roof weighs a ton. I vote dont try it!

Yes you can, but there is a min charge - £50-75, so get everything done you can :D

You DON'T have to remove all the paint! If the existing is good and stuck fast, just sand it properly.

Geezer, being a 1971, it is tax exempt. If you change too many things (suspension, engine, brakes etc etc) you will not retain enough points and will lose tax exempt status, and possibly have the vehicle reclassed as a Q reg. This is all in theory - you may 'get away with it'. Check the DVLA...

I have seen that 1st 107 in the flesh (I bought something else from the chap). I don't know much about 107s and how desireable they are... but that one is a basket case to my mind. The dash panel (bulkhead) is all but gone - to rust. Gaping holes all over. I would say NO chance of reusing the...

Mine is Marslands. I think there is little to choose between the two. I etch primed and then gave 4 coats of Tetra Schutz. It don't look galvy anymore to the scrotes.

:doh: Nope, the bulkhead is the front of the tub (just behind the seats), what he has shown is called "Panel Assembly Dash".

Stick some series doors on it and ha' done wi' it!
