i've managed to do a bit more to the landrover over the past few days mainly undoing all the bolts on the tub so i can eventually take it off! the screws that hold the doors and floor panels are rusted in pretty well so i'll have to use an impact driver to get them out next time i do some work...

Hi i was just wandering when doing a landrover TD to 200tdi conversion is it possible to use the old TD radiator or would i have to install a 200tdi one??

Hi munroe.frost did you restore the old engine first and then wait until you found a suitable 200tdi engine to fit then? I'm very interested in exactly what you did with your restoration as this was my original plan to leave the old TD engine as is and wait until i find a suitable disco/defender...

Hi i'm restoring my landrover 90 and although far of i was just wandering what is the best way to prepare the old panels ready for painting. Will sandblasting do a good job?? Any suggestions would be helpful. Cheers, james.

Havn't really look to much into a 300tdi conversion tbh as the 200tdi seems to be a lot more common thing to do. Is it as simple as the 200 tdi then and could i still use the same gear box? i will have to research a bit more into the 300tdi conversion.
