You can get some decent 2002+ discos for around 4-5k but are far and few between, ive noticed in just the last month prices have gone up for landrovers on ebay winter isn't the best time for buyers.

Seriously I would not have my ECU remapped without it been done on a rolling road, they pre-check everything and can see live data while thrashing the car to measure its performance pre-mapping. Then they apply a change run the car make sure its happy and then tweak to get the optimal...

Fitted 8000 rated HIDS to my disco both driving and high beams, gives them a tint of blue. Road legal and driving visibility is 10x better, dark country roads with high beam is like day driving. Not everyone's cuppa but I certainly would never go back to normal xenon lights now. decent kits...

update on this, took the disco in for looking at and right up to dropping it off with them the knocking was there. Next day they call to ask me again what where and how as they cant find any fault? Anyway ended up going and taking it for a spin with the engineer in shotgun, but would you believe...

Recently had a full 3" bore stainless steel exhaust fitted to my TD5 with cat and silencers removed. Sounds well and you can feel the difference in pull.

Get what you can out of the insurance, cos no matter what your premiums are now going to go up. I've been hit 3 times in the last 3 years and insurance admitted even though its not my fault your premiums go up due to the payouts.

Seriously that £500 is a drop in the ocean, expect a lot more costs if your a landy owner.
