It makes no difference when it was registered, only when it was built! If it was built before 01/01/1973 then it is historic tax, it could have been registered with the DVLA for the first time today and still be free tax! What does the 'Age related plate' bit say for the year? John.

I would check all cables, especially earth to the engine. Try a jump lead from the engine block to the negative on the battery and see if it is any better. Sorry cannot help with the Glow plugs question. John.

Go back in and say, they are testing and need to be able to repeat colour so get them to! They should give you the stuff to re do it for free (as you already bought the stuff and they got something wrong) and try to get the colour matched properly. Just go in and be nice about it, let them know...
