Received my new calliper today from Rimmers :D Ordered it on Monday arrived 2 o'clock today ! Considering we've had New Years in between I thought that was good service. Will bolt it on at the weekend and see how we get on with these bloody brakes then !!

This is true. I was thinking more along the lines of anything that has a nut on the end :) You can get UNF bolts without to much trouble. If your working on / restoring something that has Imperial fixings it might be easier to keep them all the same.

Pleas bear in mind that the finer thread of imperial fixings, verses metric course thread, will give a greater tightening force... and cheap metric bolts are not always made to the same hardness specification as the imperial bolt you are replacing. It's worth bearing in mind when dealing with...
