    ABS brake question...

Have got some workshop time on Sunday so will be back on the brakes then. Once the new calliper is fitted I'll have another bleed up then we'll see where we are... Didn't loose all the fluid but it was well below minimum, so I will check the pipework, thanks.

Thanks Kev. So the replacement resistor pack from Britpart, as mentioned some were in this thread works ok then ? I can't see anyone else selling them. Anyway... I have just received a shiny new brake calliper today, so that will have to take priority. I will get one of these resistor packs...

from a disco to v8 classic!!

Dose it have a sun roof ? If it dose, the drain pipe for it runs inside the A post and exits at the bottom under the decker panel and should be clipped to the body work. On my classic there is a grommet for the wiring that passes from the inside of the passenger foot well, this grommet is...

A/F and Imperial and spanners for ye olde Land Rovers

This is true. I was thinking more along the lines of anything that has a nut on the end :) You can get UNF bolts without to much trouble. If your working on / restoring something that has Imperial fixings it might be easier to keep them all the same.

    Classic Heater blower issues...

Thanks for the reply. I have seen something on another forum that says if it has air con it will have the resistor under the decker panel and those without, have the resistor in the blower casing. So this will hopefully mean mines under the panel. Did you manage to change it without removing the...

    Classic Heater blower issues...

Afternoon, I now this is an old thread but this problem has just happened to mine and I am slightly confused as to which of the above 'fix's' applies ? I have 200 tdi Range Rover with air con, registered in 1992. Fett, am I right in saying yours was a 92 classic ? if so what bits did you...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I have had a look through the posts on here... and there seams to be mixed opinions. One : As described by west slope, resistor under deck panel. Two : As you suggest, resistor is attached to the blower casing. (on 92 models) ? This may be the case for mine, It's registered in 92 but is 93...

A/F and Imperial and spanners for ye olde Land Rovers

Pleas bear in mind that the finer thread of imperial fixings, verses metric course thread, will give a greater tightening force... and cheap metric bolts are not always made to the same hardness specification as the imperial bolt you are replacing. It's worth bearing in mind when dealing with...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Well, it's more a case of what I've got to do ! Went out yesterday and discovered that the heater fan will only work on the max setting :( Will have to have a look on here for a fix, unless anyone has the answer ?

    ABS brake question...

Have ordered a new front OS calliper, so will be re bleeding the system again when its been fitted. At the moment it pulls to the left ! I now what you mean when you say that it may have always been like that, mine has always had good brakes, but I couldn't tell you how many peddle pushes I...
