What size tyres are you going to use that you need such a wide offset. I used 37x 12.5x 16 trepadors on a-35 offset 10” rim. It needed wide arches to be road legal.
Had a similar issue when I had a D3, but on the front passenger window, I had to remove the CJB from behind the glovebox, nightmare to get at.
Once off the car I cleaned the terminals, reassembled and all worked as it should.
If it’s one of the companies who collect your car and supposedly deliver it back fixed, be very careful as a lot don’t get there cars back or get them back not fixed but thousands out of pocket.

I’ve just had a 200 tdi rebuilt by Bambers Automotive Machine Specialists LTD in Preston. Whilst I was there he was showing me round the workshop and he was in the process of rebuilding his sisters 2.0l ingenium engine which had also had timing chain issues.
Early td5 heads were known for cracking around the exhaust ports, leading to pressuring the coolant and blowing water out the overflow on the expansion tank when pushed
Once head is off, have it checked for cracks before re fitting
I’m pretty sure the 3.0 diesel engine in the new defender is a different breed than the D4. Not heard of any cranks snapping in the defender, the majority of the issues in the ingenious engines were in the 2.0 litre that has been dropped by LR.
Could the ecu not recognise the amount of boost if maybe a boost box had been fitted? I don’t know if one is fitted to the ops car but it was a popular mod on remapped td5.
