think will opt for ngk's what are gaps set to for running on lpg also being a bit thick here but what are the flame traps

do you still use champion plugs when on lpg i think i heard your suppose to use ngk

have to now decided to service car, plugs & leads, dizzy cap & rotor etc but which brand names are best and which are to be avoided for example i know some ht leads dont work many thanks :)

Think will give it a good service then get compression test done,if it is gasket is it better to do them both . Any one have service manual going cheap. Cheers for all advice guys

Need to run it on petrol to get it warm before going ongas then ok as for head gasket how big and long a job is it and are you best doing both

leak is definatly water and is definatly coming from head gasket and is just a small seapage might be worth re-torquing head up ???. Air filter does wont changing :o but thought would still run ok, have seen worse :confused: many thanks

hi all v8, when on petrol runs badly and wants to stall but runs ok with "AIR FILTER" removed -runs on gas ok whatever ,what is wrong ??????? :confused::confused: ALSO is it common for cylinder heads to leak a little by a little a mean a few drips about 1 or 2 inch on road...

kept eye on temp guage,never went above 3/4. As for battery, was abit sus before breakdown must be final nail cos it died suddenly how does jumping on starter work, which must be hard to access

had breakdown other day - serpentine belt tensioner broke off nacking belts, had to drive few more miles without power steering,battery charge and waterpump not working but managed it ok then had to leave it over wkend result flat battery - when aa arrived couldnt start it immobilizer had kicked...

i put new belts on my 300tdi disco to only have them squeal n squeak like a good un :violin: knew it was belts due to belt dressing and talcum powder giving tempary silence cure was indeed the PENNY TRICK worked for me costs a penny and only a two minute job found out talc good for stopping...

so ive decided gonna get underneath n give it good clean to see where leaks are top up all levels adding wynns checking again in 6 months to see if owt wants doing will keep parking in drive but will try giving it a scrub :blabla::blabla::blabla: and get rid of bleeding wife :ballchain...

thats what im reckoning is it worth time n effort, just keep topping levels up AND keep parking on same spot :blabla::blabla::blabla::blabla::blabla::blabla::blabla::blabla:

have had my discovery 300tdi now for about a month and my drive is now covered in oil spots n r lass is making me ears bleed wi all nagging :blabla::blabla: is it possible to make disco gas n oil tight or is this a part of ownership :(

cheers for all advice did buy the 300tdi discovery auto - to good an offer to miss is an import and still standard with cat,egr and viscos fan and runs brill,quick off mark so will be leaving std for now if any thing it runs abit cold temp gauge never reachs above quarter as for towing went...
