Hi, this is my first time changing a land rover defender puma wipers. I am told it is the hardest one to change as there is a lot more to come out just to get the dash to move. I have not done any of the other models so I would not know. Just going off what I have been told.

Yes it did not cost much for the parts, But it is a lot of work to change them. After doing it once it would not take as long the next time.(not that I want to do it again)

I think you are not far wrong. I have not had a vehicle I have had to change as much stuff on.

Hi,have you had any look with your rear diff noise,have you had a chance to check it out yet.

The diff mountings are handed,They have a long and a short side. you can fit them the wrong way round.The long side should towards the diff,it is worth a check.

I would check the propshaft bearings to see if the rubber mountings are split also

PROPSHAFT CENTRE BEARINGS COULD NEED CHANGING I HAVE HAD THREE SETS ON OURS.IF YOU CAN LIFT THE SHAFT UP & DOWN OR THE BEARING SOUND DRY THEY NEED CHANGED.IF YOU HAVE JUST HAD THE FRONT MOUNTING ON THE DIFF CHANGED THAT CAN SET THE BEARINGS TO GO.HOPE THIS IS SOME HELP.

Hi,I have a defender 2.4 puma ( 2010 ) this is the 3rd land rover I have had.The 1st was a second hand series 2a, the 2nd was a new series 3. When I sold the series 3 I was off land rovers for a number of years but missed the vehicles so I got the 2.4 puma new. I will not be parted from it.
