I had a similar problem with my 89 Vogue. The linkage had come apart but was still connected to the motor, causing a loud CLONK when switching on the wipers. It is easier if you remove the bonnet, not a difficult job but best if you have an assistant to lift it off and back on again. HTH...

I have a set of wheels I want to use on my 1964 2A. Black and chrome composites shod with Grizzly Claws. Problem is the current wheel studs are too short, leaving me with about 4 or 5 turns per nut. Not good. Does anybody know where I can source some longer ones?
