Yeah I'm 21 and my cheapest was with Admiral so far for a V8 Disco, it was another £200 more for a diesel! Madness.

I was just wondering about the fuel economy, as someone said its horrible but others say as the chap before said your looking at in real terms 25-30 mpg which is not bad at all. Its mainly for driving small distances and the occasional trip down South or off to Scotland.

Bumping this, been having a look around this past weekend with my granddad and seen a few V8i LPG Discos. Am I mad looking at these, the cars seem in good nick and at around £2000-2500 they seem good value for the mileage?

Was in a 90 when the breaks locked on a wet road, going about 30 mph it just hit the other persons bumper. Slight mark on their bumper, zero damage to both cars.

Hi they weren't LED bulbs it seems they don't seem to exist? He's got led sidelights and 70% brighter xenon ones. Sorry about the misinformation I presume that you could get H4 bulbs in LED if they make them for fogs.

H4 Upgrade Car Headlight Bulbs: Philips X-Treme Power, Osram Night Breaker and Ring Xenon Max, Ring Not sure what ones he has as they only appear to be the Xenon ones, will ask him tonight when I've come back from the gym.

My friend put some in his Defender and they made a massive difference, normally with normal beam it was shocking and could hardly see anything ahead. Replacing all the bulbs with LED versions worked out well and I plan to do the same when I get my Disco.
