Is there anyone near Witney oxfordshire with diagnostics for a p38 who would be kind enough to come plug my range in my hevac unit lights up but none of the buttons will work an the screen is blank I no there's nothing wrong with the hevac because I've tried it in my brothers range someone...

Oh right was just a thought didn't realise it would be so much work so your probably right about being a power issue I'm at a loose end with it lol

So I've checked the fuses and checked for power at them and there is so I'm stumped I did have a thought did the previous owner try upgrading it from a manual hevac unit to the digital one so did LR put the manual one in a 98 RR ?

Yeah it works perfect in my bros car and his does exactly the same when it's plugged in mine just lights up but the screens blank an none of the buttons will work or light up. I was hoping to use diagnostics as a last resort

Worked fine when I plugged it in my brothers and when it's plugged in mine all that happens is the screen lights up but it's completely blank I've checked the fuses and they all seem fine so I'm stuck really

Hi Everyone I have a 1998 RR 2.5dse with a strange problem my hevac screen lights up but the screen is blank and none of the buttons on it will work I.e heated seats, heated screen etc I no the unit is in fully working order tho as I tried it in my brothers p38 and I also tried his in my car...

1998 2.5dse 96,000 miles on it
