if i remember correctly when running wires to fit a switch for my fbh i pulled the grommet out cut the hole and lubed it up so went back in no problem,but i cant remember if it was from the inside or outside.
handbrake warning light acts in conjunction with brake fluid level sensor warning of low brake fluid or handbrake is on,so no problem,but you wont know if you have a leak if you dont fix it:eek:
i dont think glow plugs have anything to do with cold starting on direct injection engines, as far as i know there just for emissions on cold start up but i could be wrong;)
try slacking the nuts to the end of thread and then push up and down on wiper arm [with arms in normal position] at the point where the pivot is this usualy breaks the the taper fit,it worked on mine and most other cars i do
hmm wires look same color as fuel rail pressure sensor,maybe had the loom conversion for pressure sensor but dont know if this involves leaving the origanal connector disconected:confused:
if all other readings are ok i would think the aftermarket cat is at fault,fitted loads of them,waste of time,some are ok for a while but most dont last very long
it could be your main fob is duff and your spare is just flat through lack of use,try using yor spare in the slot for a while and see if it charges up,have known this happen on transits with same system;)
there is a captive nut in the bottom but due to rust it siezes then just starts spinnig in the plastic housing below,cut the head of the bolt of mine then just knocked the rest through then just fitted bolt and nut with washers;)
faulty remote,if it opens ok with remote then you know all motors and recievers are working,so faulty open button on remote.might be expensive to replace as think remote needs to be coded by dealer:eek:
no mention of key not turning the lock,only said key dont work?:( forgot about the 10mm spanner job for the bonnet but not every body can remember everything,i suppose a search of how to open bonnet would have sorted things out earlier.
if your key turns the lock and it dont open it looks like the linkage between the barrel and latch has come loose,superlocked or not it should still open manually even with flat battery.looks like undertray off and jump leads or break window:eek:
