Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could donate an old thermostat for me to experiment on? Looking for a M62TUB44 stat please. I am interested in fitting the 80degree thermostat kit into it and would like to trial it on a used stat in case I fcuk it up! Please PM me if you can help...

So a quick update guys.. Took a chance and ordered the 2014 maps DVD from: https://bmwnavigation.co.uk/road-map-high-europe-2014/ The chap also did me a custom splash screen with my company logo... Bottom line..... FANTASTIC! All is good now..... Attached picture of new...

Good point Charlie....The coolant is gonna be around £25, so £111 for 3-4 hours work isn't bad for labour is it? Also the guy recommends Blueprint water pump....any experience on this anyone? Is it a decent brand? As for the thermostat.....just waiting for Rewmer to let me know where he...

Right....having got her up on a ramp today, my indy has diagnosed a faulty water pump. So the questions that spring to mind are: 1) which is the best pump to fit? 2) is this a DIY job? 3) any 'how to's' would be appreciated. Cheers guys

Yep......vaporiser is all good.....by the look of things. A bit vary about getting under the car when the coolant is hot😰 Why is it 'good news' at the front?

Thanks for that matey.... Checked around the rad and there are no signs of a leak around there.... And as for the tank having a hairline crack.....well again there are no signs of coolant leak from that area also..... It seems to be coming more from the front underside of the engine as far as...

Still baffled as to where this damn coolant leak is coming from. Leaving the car overnight, over last few nights, and there is always a wet patch on the drive in the morning. So, left a pan underneath last night and sure enough this morning there was a small amount of pink coolant in the pan...
