    Good point Charlie....The coolant is gonna be around £25, so £111 for 3-4 hours work isn't bad for labour is it? Also the guy recommends Blueprint water pump....any experience on this anyone? Is it a decent brand? As for the thermostat.....just waiting for Rewmer to let me know where he...

    😁yep! Found it right after posting that! Anyway, having read it.....I don't think I have the skill set to do it.... Been quoted £136 labour inc coolant and vat. Does that sound reasonable?

    Right....having got her up on a ramp today, my indy has diagnosed a faulty water pump. So the questions that spring to mind are: 1) which is the best pump to fit? 2) is this a DIY job? 3) any 'how to's' would be appreciated. Cheers guys

    Yep......vaporiser is all good.....by the look of things. A bit vary about getting under the car when the coolant is hot😰 Why is it 'good news' at the front?

    Have actually removed the undertray....that is how I found the drips on the subframe.... Spoke with the PO this evening, but he was not very helpful, saying that after replacing the rad the problem went away....clearly not what he said in his original post! Anyway.....could it be the valley...

And as for the tank having a hairline crack.....well again there are no signs of coolant leak from that area also..... It seems to be coming more from the front underside of the engine as far as...
