Very true..... Could be a plan then. I'm more concerned with just getting it through an MOT for now, but long term I need to have a good look at the chassis and give it a thorough de-gunging and repair any issues.

Last night, someone drove into the side of my parked 110, damaging the sills and splitting the door beyond repair. I've a chance to buy 2 x 90 front doors at a decent price, but need to check to see if they'll fit a 110... Any ideas? If I want them, I've to pick em up quickly and dont...

Hey all.... I've a long running problem with the power feed to the landy stereo. I've checked all fuses,and tried a replacement stereo, but still no further forward. When testing the voltage on the plug into the stereo, it 'pulses' between showing a voltage and zero... Any ideas...

Hi all.... After the recent heavy rain, I got into the 110 to drive home from work only to find the inside of the landy was wetter than an otters pocket.. Luckily, the electricals seemed to be unharmed. The radio has now stopped working, but all fuses are OK. Another radio in place won't...

Well, Its at the garage now, where they seem to think its possibly a sticky valve. I'll update once I hear back from them as to what it was, in the hopes that someone with a similar problem can search and get an answer... Many thanks for the comments and help.

I removed the rocker cover and watched while the engine was running - getting covered in oil at the same time.... what I did notice was what I think is the injector housing was discoloured - more of a burnt bronze colour than the normal steel colour.....

James. I really can't thank you enough for your advice, but after sleeping on it, I'm going to let a garage sort my problems out as the vehicles needed for work and an upcoming holiday. Many Thanks again....

They all looked like they opened and shut, with a little freeplay when the engine was off - but not a lot at all....

Right. Thanks so far, I appreciate it. Done that, all seems OK. Got missus to turn engine over, and one valve is blowing.... How much of a job is that for a novice, and how much is it likely to cost!

OK.... rocker cover is off, valves look OK at first glance. .. Next daft question.... how do I turn engine by hand? seems very stiff, assuming I'm doing it properly.....

So I'd just remove the bolt in the middle of the cover? What would I be looking for...All valves moving? Would I start the engine with the rocker cover off to see this?
