    Lift on a budget

Really? I would have thought the rear shockers would have topped out as they reach the limit of travel?

    Lift on a budget

As I understand it the blocks up front also raise the shockers so no change needed but rears will need droppers or longer shocks, is that right?

    Lift on a budget

Sorry if this is daft question but can I achieve a cheap 2" lift by adding spacer blocks all round and then -2" droppers for the rear shockers? Obviously it would better to use a full spring/shock kit but funds are tight! I'm not fussed about lots of articulation, just want to stop my new...

    Camel Cut required or not?

    Camel Cut required or not?

Did the paint split as you folded it?

    Camel Cut required or not?

Thanks for that, guess it also depends on the wheel offset. Using standard alloys which are quite low offset so hopefully won't need to do it. I know it's a 10 minute job with a dremel or grinder with cutting disc but if I do it i want do make a proper job of it by warming and folding the panel...

    Camel Cut required or not?

Could anyone advise if I will need to camel cut the rear arches on the new 300tdi when I fit 245/75/16 tyres? It is standard height on the suspension. I know for 265/75/16's you have to, even with a 2" lift but am hoping these won't need it.

    Discovery 300TDI Automatic

I'm in the market for a nice 300 but there are loads around (some rubbish obviously) but unless it had some seriously good mods such as nice tyres a snorkel, winch etc I wouldn't pay more than £1700 tops

    Modding a 3 door D1

Hi folks, looking at a 3 door D1 tomorrow. Had a few 5 doors so used to what to look for around the rear inner arches and also how to mod the arches to allow 265/75's to fit. Are there similar corrosion issues with the 3 door version and also, does it make it more difficult to modify the rear...

    3 Amigos LEDS

Probably removed them due to a fault on the system making the lights come on! AFAIK they are just bulbs so should be possible to replace.

Changing hi to low and back.

I find it helps to be slowly bringing the clutch up (with hardly any revs) as you pull the lever back to High range, should help it take up the drive and drop in
