    Cheeky? Plea for help..

Well its in, and it took them an hour, but for some reason, the £45 quoted rose to £88.. ouch!! I have a labrador and a rottweiler, the lab would have fit through, but not the rottie, but she is very protective, so if left in the car with the window down, I didn't want people losing fingers...

Is there anyone out there who has fitted their own rear window guard? and therefore knows what they are doing? I bought one the other day from LR, thinking I could fit it myself ... all was going well until I realised I had to drill holes into metal... So, in short, is there...

Thanks all.. It does look ok in the photo, as that the was same day I put something on it, but a day later it was back to white/grey.. I tried Turtle wax black trim 'clean, shine & protect'.. takes ages, so only managed one wheel arch last night, and haven't checked to see if its dried...

    Where to buy NOT online?

I have viewed the various threads regarding bringing the bumpers back up to their original colour/shine, but does anyone know where I can get these products from besides ordering online? I am after either carlack bumper sealant, or carplan bumper sealant.. I have of course tried google, but...

    Awful noises.. any ideas?

Hi, I haven't driven on any gravel yet.. only had her a few days. She had new pads put on 2 days ago from the guy I bought it off.. so there shouldn't be anything like a stone trapped in there, but will do as you described just in case. It only happens in 1st gear though, surely if there were...

    Awful noises.. any ideas?

Only had her a few days, but noticed yesterday she is making some awful noises.. They are coming from the left side, and more towards the front wheel underneath.. The closest I can desrcibe the noise it makes is a wire coathanger dragging, getting caught up in something metal. It makes a...

Rear prop shafts.. needed for light off road?

Ground clearance.... I have done the above in my 03 golf tdi for the last few years, but regularly rip off the trays underneath.. plus I always have to go so slowly, mainly due to ground clearance... I was putting off getting another 4x4 for as long as possible.. that time is now, only to...

Rear prop shafts.. needed for light off road?

Hi, Can someone confirm if the rear prop shafts are needed for light off roading? Picking up my freelander this afternoon. Guy says they are not needed for the amount of off roading it will do, but has offered to fit them if I want. VERY minimal off roading - fields, dirt tracks, man made...

Hi everyone, So glad I have found this site :) It has been an eye opener! I pick my freelander up tomorrow afternoon, having viewed it today, and I can't wait... It will basically be a car for the dogs.. it will be going 'off road' but nothing serious, just fields, man made tracks...
