the engine is a 200tdi and i had about 4 or 5 times trying it then it started and drove home for about 5 mins then i took them out about 20mins after getting home.

I took my glow plugs out today because of it strugling to start and when i took them out number 2 and 3 was covered in oil is there a problem or is that normal.

my feul gauge is telling me lies it is saying i have half a tank when i run out of fuel :mad: just woundering if anyone knows what is wrong thanks.

can i use mineral oil or just semi snythetic thanks.

i bought the gauge and the sender from the same person and they say it is the correct sender for the gauge thank for your replys i will have another play with it later.

i am trying to fit an oil presure gauge to my 200tdi so i have fitted a tee peace put the oil presure switch on there and the oil presure sender to the otherside put an 12 volt feed from the sender to the gauge and then another live to the gauge and a eath but it still will not work no matter...

it is going off the gauge it is going passed the red mark easy when it is not even hot

My defender has had a 200tdi conversion and it had the old td gauge in and now i have put a 200 tdi gauge in it is still reading wrong does anyone now why.

thanks for the replys i changed the fuel filter not so long ago but will put a new one on anyway.

as i tryed again i dident change gear as i pulled off first it pulled off like normal and the power just died until it nearely stooled sorry i explaned a bit crap thanks for the reply

hello just seeing if anyone can help i was out in the landy(disco 200tdi coversion) yesterday and i stopped for about 5mins and when i got back in to it i pulled of and as i put my foot down it complely lossed all power and nearly stalled it i put my foot on the clutch and reved it and it was...

When i am driving along at about 30mph and there are small bunps in the road the sterring shakes really bad just seeing if any of you had any ideas of what it is .

i was thinking about going in about 2 or 3 weeks you can join me if you like.

is it possible a nackared master cylinder is the problem my level is ok but the cylinder is leaking abit.

my clutch is slipping on my 200tdi i was just woundering if it is a hard job to do.

yesterday in the rain for some reson my rear sidelights have stoped working my indcators and brake lights work just seeing if you guys have any sugestions.
