Just wondered, has anyone used the Android based 'Torque' monitoring system via bluetooth.

I had the back end of a Ford Escort van that had been made into a trailer and it was brilliant. Towed really well. Being front wheel drive it had a lazy back axle so no diff to worry about.

I had the gearbox oil and filter changed almost as soon as I bought my P38 diesel and it made a huge difference. Smoother changes at all revs/speeds. Well worth doing I would say even if you still have to adjust the kick down.

Mine is 99MY diesel and if I unlock it and open a door I can leave it all day without re-locking. If I don't open a door within a short period of time it re-locks. In order to start the car the correct fob has to be very close to the ignition lock.

I run my rangie on 100% home produced biodiesel and it is happy on that. If you want to know more about running on veg oil or bio best take a look here

Checked my Hawkeye and it can only be set for English or French.

I will check my Hawkeye to seee if you can change the language. I think you can but I will report back.

I wired up the 12S (caravan fridge etc) plug on my P38 courtesy of instructions from irish rover. Probably still got the info if you need it.

Towing with a P38 can lead to overheating. Many a P38 has overheated when towing including my diesel. V8 is supposed to be more inclined to overheat. Trouble is you have Aircon fans and radiator and intercooler in front of the engine cooling radiator so not much through flow of cold air...
