    Bonnet Release Cable Problem

Hello all! My 1997 Discovery has always had a cable coming directly off the latch and out the front of the grille as the cable had snapped on the previous owner. This temporary fix works fine but I would like to replace it properly. I've bought a new cable, bolted it on under the dash...

My bonnet release cable snapped recently! I managed to get the bonnet open without removing the headlights or grille. Facing the car, I peered up through the centre of the grille to where the mechanism is located. If you look closely there is a small gap where you can fit a long...

    New Freelander Owner.

Sold the Freelander to an Australian chap, within 3 months he informed me that the head gasket went, it cost him £1500 to get it fixed. Then he sold it to a friend and it went again! I'll never buy one again.

    Freelander Worries!

Hello all! I bought a Freelander recently AFTER reading all the negative write-ups as I won't be doing many miles in it, it looks great and is ideal for taking my dog for walks in The New Forest. I am just concerned with all this talk of the head gasket failing and was wondering if there...
