You'll know if the ecu is purgning the pump as the mil light should flash when you have "pumped" the pedal five times and as said before you may have to do this several times

as he said^^^^^^^^ You tend to find that chipping/tuning police cars is a myth these days. It will have been treated as a tool rather than a car, I'd leave well alone!

OK give us a bit more info on your Tranny. What year is it and what engine does it have and all the symptoms you have ???

I think you'll find the A frame will need a braking device fitted due to the weight of the Transit and under no circumstances must anyone travel in the Transit.

I borrowed my mates TestBook the other day and was running through a few checks and I found that when in high range TB said that its in low and vice versa. As I understand it this will make the throttle pedal response different and could effect the HDC operation???? Tried searching the web but...

Yeah I've been known to suffer from that too!

Yor original unit would not have been amplified as you had a seperate amp. Yor new unit would have been amplified and supplied an amplified out put to the amplifer and this would be the cause of the hissing!
