You either have a poor earth or the live feed to the glow circuit is poor but the chances are that you'll only find it when it's failed!

I'm a breakdown patrol, and most of the clubs will not provide recovery if no spare is available that was supplied as standard. If it's during business hours your ok, but out of hours your only choice would be a private recovery(at your own expense) or call out tyre company but you could eaisly...

OK, I've aquired a new transfer box as the new one has diff lock and told it's been "re-ferbed". The difference is my present box ia 1.211 gear ratio and the new one is 1.410 so I was wondering as g/boxes are not my thing what adverse effects this would have??? Ta Chris

Has it got the modified thermostat? if so check no one has fitted a new stat in the old housing as it should have been removed. Also if you have the new stat (plastic one in the hoses) make sure the pipes have been put back on in the correct order, I know this from experience:frusty:

Used to have this prob on new ones back in 1997 after going through water and turned out to be EDC failure due to water ingress to the back of the pump.
