Morning gents I need to replace the nearside front noisey wheel bearing on my td5 disco but the guy at my local spares shop said i will have to replace the whole hub assembly !! Is this true or can i just do the bearing ? Seems a bit strange i would have to replace a 150 quid hub for the sake...

Everyone has their opinion about britpart some good some not they are cheap i will give em that but thats not always good. Try one of the site sponsers famous four or ask in the wanted section you never know your luck.

Look on ebay they sell spacer kits for the air bags with extension links for the ride height sensors.then you buy a pair of springs for the front. You might have to extend brake hoses and such like aswell though.

hello gents Just going through the receipts i got when i bought my discovery td5 a couple of months ago and i found the last service receipt which says they used synthetic oil in the engine. I e never been a fan of synthetic and wondered what the genrel opinion was as too whether its worth...

Christ i am just about to do mine on my td5 i didnt realise you had to use new bolts and bushes i was just gonna replace rubber with cheap ebay part but i will spend a bit more on origanal parts now i know. Cheers gents.

hello chaps does any know if disco 1 steel modular wheels will go straight on a td5 disco 2. ta.

Adrian flux for me i recommend them everytime ive had cars kit cars one off special build bikes and land rovers insured with them and they have always been exellent no issues at all.

YepYep i used plusgas and did it with a stone cold engine because i thought the manifold and bolts would heat up at different rates and cause problems.dont know if that is actually what happens but it worked a treat so was all good glad yours worked out in the end.

Shame about the price im looking for somewhere else to go and this is just within range but the entry fee plus fuel would make it an expensive day out. Thanks for the info though might give it a go.

Now now I was gonna say 70 is too fast to tow but having thought about it at least we wont be stuck behind it. I only drive my disco2 at 60_65 to keep the fuel bill down a bit.

Hello gents Has anyone tried wildtracks off road course up the a11. i was told about it today but wanted to know if its worth the hours drive and 30 quid entry fee. Went to essex off road in chelmsford couple of weekends ago and it was exellent.really good day so im looking to try somewhere...

good evening gents. i have decided to renew the front springs and shocks on my td5 (rear air) after a little look turns out the turrets are delaminated with rust on the bottom edges so they need replacing too. having looked on ebay everything seems to be heavy duty or 40mm lift.can anyone...

Evening chaps where the hell do you get the clips for the suspension airbags from as nobody even the main dealer round my way has them (disco 2td5). Very frustrating i need to sort my airbags before the compresser blows up.thanks.

Sorry gents Mine was the fuse.changed it and it runs perfectly.checked the gas again and its 40 psi which is ok.thanks for help and answers anyway.cheers.
