do you wave?(their all miserable sods round here)

I usually look to see if the driver is waving to me - ready to return the gesture but to date no-one has waved :( I did see one sitting at the lights at Markyate on the A5 yesterday evening and as I passed I looked across but the windows on his were so dark (tinted) I couldn't see if they...

    Still selling for 20k

A very rare car but all said and done it is a P38 - with a VHS video player in the back and a leather headlining (apparently), I wonder what the "offer" was :) Darren

What did you do with your Range Rover today

May well be a bit pricey for what they are - but I am a perfectionist and they were on the "to do" list :) Darren

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Hi Doz, I bought a "set" from Island 4x4 in Kent - if you go to their website and put "HEVAC JFC102550B" in the search box you will see the set I bought - £7 and odd pence or £14 with all the VAT and postage for next day delivery. I replaced all the bulbs as a matter of course. very...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Had quite a busy day today and sorted a few things -fitted replacement HEVAC Unit bulbs (to replace a couple of blown ones) - didn't realise that it involved taking the console apart. Also fitted a wood and leather steering wheel I bought some time ago and pleased with that, also had a look at...

Many thanks to a fellow RR man

What a hero this guy was - I have been stranded in a live lane of motorway traffic and it is not pleasant - I must put my tow rope in the back of my P38 over the weekend! DB

My Rangie has eaten my Champions

Just fitted NGK's to my P38 and was amazed at the difference in pick up and smoothness, the old plugs must have been in there a while (I have only had the car 3 months) and there were 2 different sizes and brands fitted - next thing to replace is leads with some Magnecor ones.

    P38 - Won't Start, Wont fire.

Thank you - I will be ordering one of those batteries in the morning, hopefully it will be here for the weekend and I can get it fitted. I dont think there is much wrong with the battery on it but that can go in the shed as a back up for the winter. May well invest in a syncmate for peace of...

    P38 - Won't Start, Wont fire.

Well garage have just called and said that they have it started! - They read the codes and the immobilizer had lost contact with something else - he seemed to think that a low battery could have triggered it but battery seems fine and only went flat through me trying to start it. Going to...

    P38 - Won't Start, Wont fire.

Thanks for the tip - I was waiting on something with a spectacle lift turning up but was pleasantly surprised when a flat bed recovery truck arrived and the old girl was put on with a lot of care and attention - driver even said it was the tidiest example he had seen in a while - but he probably...

    P38 - Won't Start, Wont fire.

Thanks for the reply - I am in Edlesborough - Bucks - which is near Leighton Buzzard. I have just spoken to a Land Rover Specialist in Kings Langley who are coming to recover the car this afternoon and plug it into "T4". I will update in the next couple of days with a diagnosis if they can...

    P38 - Won't Start, Wont fire.

Well after joining the forum last week and having no problems it seems I tempted fate, My 4.6 HSE refused to start on Sunday. The engine turns over but doesn't fire. As we had pretty much constant rain on Sunday I thought it may be just damp and left it to dry out. Went to start it Yesterday...

Hello from new owner, RR P38 HSE 2000
