Not sure, I was hoping for a bit more than that - I paid considerably more than that for it but they seem to have dropped a bit in price over the past couple of years. Can you not go a wee bit higher..? Especially as it's got a reaaaaally long cable wiv it!

Yer right Ratty, it is closer to 25 metres. In fact it is pretty much exactly 25 metres long. But, being the numpty I am, I forgot to measure the thickness - I think they're a standard size, are they not? I just had a look at the photo and it says 16.3mm...

Never measured it and only used it a couple of times. It's dahn in Studland and I'm in Stur now, if I can get through the storms tomorrow (!) I'll get it measured and report back. Mkay?

Nowt wrong with the old 2.25! More of a chug around than a run around though! I have read that it's worth taking the turbo off the 200 to turn it into a Di as the transmission won't handle the power characteristics of the TDi. Anyhow, welcomes.

I got rid of my old Defender as the chassis seemed to be rusting from the inside out. There were 'one-or-two' repairs that needed doing, then it all looked sound. When doing some work on the front suspension I jacked it up off the axle, put an axle stand under the chassis rail with a length of...

And only helps after the event. Best to try and stop the buggers taking it in the first place! And with one as nice as yours they might just try and load it onto a truck, best to bolt it down or hide it away!

and service bits. Short stainless 2" straight through exhaust for Series 2 (four bolt manifold) Polybush kit for Defender 90/110 Plus loads of service bits, filters, gaskets, throttle cable, etc etc. All here.

I think there's quite a few threads on here, do a searchy thing. Best advise is to keep it out of sight and locked away! Otherwise, before you know it, it will be registered as a Series II tax exempt pickup!
