G clamp has been on the flexis to no avail. Thinking it must be the MC adjustment. Will have a play tomorrow. Oh, I use a clear tube for bleeding and there are no more bubbles...

Um, yeah. And it's Bearmach. Really? That means if the rod is correctly adjusted and you pump the pedal, the pedal would go up so there's no travel at all, wouldn't it.? When I fitted the MC I left the bleed nipples open (in order) until they had dripped though an inch or two into a jam jar...

I set it to the same length as the old one. What's confoosing me is that with a coupla pumps the pedal comes up...

Just fitted new master cylinder so hope that's okay! Will check the lines again in daylight. Before changing the master cylinder loads of bubbles were coming out and kept coming out when bleeding. Changed master cylinder and the fluid coming out is clear of bubbles but the pedal still goes to...

Clamped each of the flexis then all three and the pedal still goes to the floor, same as before. Any more ideas please?

No worries. Read some of his posts and you'll understand why. :o I would reiterate though, don't just check the levels but change all the fluids. It makes loadsa difference - well it did to mine anyway.!

I'm surprised that this thread has got so far with no one suggesting that you do a search, there are loads of transmission topics on here. I would say you're first tasks are 1) learning what all the poles and boxes are and 2) changing all the fluids. And drivel, learn left from right! :rolleyes:

Salisbury for extreme muddiness and mayhem. If you'd prefer some more relaxed and scenic laning (with views to die for), hop on the Sandbanks ferry and work your way up through the Purbecks into north Dorset - there are some lovely lanes but like I say they're all a bit on the fragile side at...

I'll be up for coming out too! I'm near Sturminster Newton and know a couple of lanes around these parts, although a lot of them are a wee bit fragile at the mo. Probably best sticking with Matchams until it dries out a bit. Let me know when you're going and if Itchy's up for it I'll be there...

Didn't get round to investigating, still fettling with the brakes. I'll report back at the weekend.

So, brake lights work find and rear lights work fine. Side lights on, press brake and n/s rear light goes out. Other brake light is fine. I'm going to check the earth once I've had enough of dicking about with the brakes but has anyone got other ideas..? :confused:
