Dont run it out of fuel, you could pull any crap through to the engine. Iam sure your tank holds its 95 litres must be a faulty sender

The onlly thing sticking out here to me is you said. 2. Cleaned the red ECU plug - it was clogged with oil and for a month the fault went away . Why did that cure the fault for a Mth, is there something in that area you have missed

2 miles it warmed up quiet quick for aTD5, mines about 4 Needle position just a nats above half for the last 10 years, put the heater on full and trundling round town needle drops well down. It sounds normal to me, apart from 2 mile too temp were you booting it

You sure can Sierrafery gave me a drawing to fit level sensor on the coolant expansion tank, so if you get burst hose the buzzer will go off.

Same old problems, just different motors. My passenger foot well leak was the screen, but TD5. Get the bride to hose it down for an hour or so while you sit in and look for leaks, or are you already divorced Anyway it sounds like your in there and going for it. Good luck Mark
