So here’s where I am with it The only fault that has ever showed when plugged in is/was the shuttle valve This has now been replaced with new one and wireing mod done So the 3 amigos no longer come on But the TC is still very sensitive but not all the time ie drive down rough farm drive nothing...

Does the brake fluid in a TD5 circulate round the ABS unit

That’s a very good point but in this instance why did they not play up from day one You are correct 2 front are non genuine eBay

How about something in the ABS unit playing games?

Done that one 2 about 3 mths old other 2 about 6 all still good on recheck

New Lucas alternator fitted £150 Euro Car Parts took me about 3 hours No further problems as not driven it yet but runs and starts fine Not the easiest job but done far worse So to recap looks like alternator was shot but I had NO WARNING LIGHT it does work Many thanks for all help Mark

So all being well I only have one problem new Alternator required Will the battery being flat for 48 hours effect ECU or any other components

TD5 52 plate none active just rear air Just lately every time i stop the air suspension grunts about 6 times never used to. Yes i expect her to self level but not this much and offten No overnight drop motor sits perfect all the time, so i dont suspect leak or she would be down in morning...

Pay an extra £50 get a new one 12 mts waranty

try to get tank as low on diesel as you can. and dont cut the carpet do it right its not a big job clean area well B4 removal, you dont want crap in tank
