Hi mateys does anyone have any information on the V5 update for Hawkeye? I emailed Bearmarch last week seeking news but so far they have not replied.

Hi peeps, I run a D2 on LPG but it only does about 5 miles each way ferrying the wife to work and 5 miles home again so it doesn't really get fully warm. It returns about 11.5mpg doing this and at 69.9p/l that means about 30p per mile. Work in to that the added cost of unleaded while it warms up...

Getting about 11.5 from mine on gas but it only does short journeys ferrying the missus to work and back. Best is 16 on a run to North Wales.

You didn't mention which warning lights ~ it might help

I suppose the cons are that it will only read the ABS fault codes. For a bit more money you could buy HawkEye/Nanocom (whichever is your prefrence) and do MUCH more.

Have also heard that LPG prefers the older copper type of plugs rather than the new platinum/iridium ones, but I have no tried them yet.

I agree the codes are accurate however it will only point to an electrical failure of the SVS. It won't tell him if its actually the SVS thats failed or the signals to the SVS. If he is not familiar with the failure of the circuit board on the modulator that supplies the SVS, he will change the...

I agree. Shuttle valve switch is the usual culprit. The car is safe. To drive, just be aware that You have no ABS.

I know about the service bulletin regarding the sensors, but I was thinking more of the bearing. If the bearing is not serviceable and a new hub is required, it would come complete with an ABS sensor mounted correctly. Or is the bearing now serviceable also?

I was under the impression that hub bearings on a D2 were not serviceable, that you had to change the whole hub and an ABS sensor was included or have I been misled?
