I recently replaced my auxiliary belt on my FL1 2.0 TD4 am I mistaken or should there be some kind of cover that protects the lower part of the belts ?

Swapped oil from D6 to D2 no different so put the old pump back on and hey presto the noise from the pump has gone and the steering seems to be ok so all in all it looks like I have a brand new duff pump from Britcar in the UK and somehow I seemed to have cured my orignal fault which I think may...

The new fluid is cherry red and was told its compatible but im thinking its not so today im gomna get it out and swap it for D2 or D3, ive also noticed there is turbulence in the reservoir when its running which could be air so im wondering if its too thin and causing aereation ?

Just replaced my old power steering pump on my 2.0 TD4 with a brand new oem one plus a new auxilliary drive belt. I used Dexron ATF VI for the reservoir but I now have a significant groan coming from the pump which increases with rpm. Have i used the wrong fluid ? I did bleed the system as per...

Hi I have to change my power steering pump and wondered if its possible to do it without raising the engine as described in the haynes manual ?

Thanks m8 I did suspect the injectors but today noticed the noisy pump so before I tackle the injectors Ive ordered a new LP pump and filter. Thanks for the quick reply is there a quick check to which injector is at fault ?
