Pumped the prop full off grease as suggested its stopped a lot of the movement no movement when holding both yokes, could it just be a case of not enough grease in the prop shaft ie my fault or is it broken?..

When rotating it i get about 20/30 degrees of slack which i am assuming is all right going by other threads, when shaking it up and down there is a play at the join where the spline go in about 5mm or so had a good look at the UJ,s and there does not seem to be any play but would i need to jack...

    300TDI manifold gasket.

300TDI manifold gasket made by Elring purchased one for my Defender which got lost in the post, so they sent me another then the original turned up!!! So have a spare. Cost £5.85 plus postage of Fleebay. If your happy to pay for postage plus £3.00 you can have it.

always digging around trying to find a oil leak that was on the inlet manifold also for ever tinkering around in the engine bay took it off one day and could never really bothered to put it on again. Got used to the noise now!!

    Noise killer blanket

Anyone want a noise killer blanket for a Series/defender? It is used but still in one piece. It was only on and off the engine for about a month but got bored of taking it on and off and has sat in the garage ever since! For those that do not know this is a link to it...
