    what diameter pipe would you suggest? My eye-sight isnt good enought to see the difference between a 6 or 8mm inner diameter even with something to measure with :rolleyes:

    S3 overheating when driving. Normal when idling

    New update. New rad fitted. Another new (tested) thermostat . Still over heats but slightly less. Still goes back to normal at idle and creeps up with revs whether stationary or moving. Checked alternator output again. 12.6 idle and 13.6 at revs

    I don't want to chop into the roof or leave regretful holes Iv seen bars without lights fit into the lip of the roof but for attaching up to 4 separate lights. I'm fancying a long solid 52inch LED bar but all the fittings iv seen for them wouldn't work I don't think

    UPDATE Changed the stabiliser. More accurate and responsive. Still reading high under revs. Normal at idle. Next step is a new radiator I guess :(

    Found a rusty voltage regulator behind dash. Figured it was knackered. Opened it up out of curiosity and it was pristine inside. Guess the part that contacts the case to earth itself had corroded too much. New one on order. Will see what difference it makes

    How does it fit to the wheel? The original wheels iv looked at don't appear to have anywhere for the striker to spot into? Or am I being daft?

    Tested with an analogue and digital multimeter. With engine off. Battery voltage about 12.2v Lead to temp sensor and lead to fuel sender reading between 11.5 and 11.8 volts. Is it weird that the digital meter had a clear reading with no jumping?

    In the mean time iv gotta figure out how to remove this defender wheel. There's no holes for a puller behind the emblem. Just the main nut. Tried pulling and wiggling with feet pushing against the car but no luck
