I'd keep the air as it works side by side with the ACE IMO. My D2 has had on an off issues with the ACE and when its active its great when it ****s itself the rear firms up like the ACE does, making the ride jolty, I don't know if its connected but it certainly feels like they are when driven.

Not a Range Rover but I went from 18s to 20s on my Discovery adjusted the tyre size to suit so rolling radius was as close to standard as possible, as TD5's never came on 20s. Speedo is pretty good, but the ride from the low profile tyres has been affected, no where near as nice as it was.

What modifications did you do to run the 750-16s?
