It would definitely be 2 wheel drive when the wheels fall off.

You could drop the diff and then split the driveshafts just leaving the outer cv's in place??....or just remove the guts from the diff.

Yep genuine ones are approx £120 to£130. You can buy cheaper ones but they don't last and are quite noisy in comparison.

You'll be fine......there's not that much play when you tighten everything back up. For the drive shafts I find a piece of wood and a hammer removes them quite easily.

What setting have you got your synergy on? When set to max they do tend to give back smoke on acceleration.....just knock it back a setting.

It can be done without removing the ird. If you use the search function there's a step by step guide for it.

Can't tell you about the gear box but if they are like the carrier bearings on the rear diff then you should be able to pull them out with the gearbox left in place.

You have used a punch or driver to unstake the lip of the nut where it is locked into place on the driveshaft?.......just checking.

Bigger ....didn't read it properly....mine was losing gearbox oil due to damaging the seal not clutch fluid. What make of slave did they fit?......could it be that the quick fit connector isn't fully home?

It'll be the tube that the slave sits over that covers the gearbox input shaft.....they will have damaged the end seal and or the o ring at the bottom...........exactly what happened to mine.....I got them to take it back out and do it properly.

So..........as you were told nearly 2 weeks ago don't drive it until you have removed props and vcu, change fluids and check the breather on the diff else you'll be looking at a bill of 1 to 2k to get it put right. Driving in mondo mode (2wd) until you have the funds is fine........some people...

Personally I think do the leak back test first then pump and filter also check the plug and contacts are clean on the fuel rail pressure sensor.........if you have a synergy tuning box turn it off to see if this makes a difference.
