If the gear stick moves around a lot whilst the engine is running t,his is normally due to a fecked engine mount.

Steering knock/knotch when turning steering wheel quarter turn either direction

Agreed.....although it also led to a noisey power sterling pump followed by it failing and if they changed the pump and didn't change the filter it would soon knacker the new pump. Have a look at the drop links as suggested though as it may be something that simple.

    Help urgently needed

The grinding noise could be the vcu bearings....as said before remove the prop to confirm this. As for the banging noise it could well be the rear diff bushes.....normally the nose one goes first and can cause it to bang under braking and acceleration.

So you have diesel on the undertray?. This normally comes from the high pressure pump...located on the engine block behind the oil filter by the left hand engine mount. Ok, has it been taking longer to start during cranking recently? You say you have fuel coming out at pressure on cranking...so I assume fuel pumps are ok...my next step would be to do a leak back test on the injectors and or get it code read to see if it comes up low fuel pressure which would...

    Really?.....I'd rather play it safe.

    Should I be concerned?

What James is saying is that the leak is most probably coming from the front of the diff where the prop attaches and then running to the back of the diff when driving. As he says just keep your eye on the oil level for the short term.

    Clunking on clutch

My linkage from the master cylinder to the clutch peddle used to move to one side and then clunk when it moved back......fitted a circlip and plastic washer to keep it in place about three years ago. When it moved to the side it would be harder to change gear as the master cylinder was at a...
