Oh I will measure it up when I get chance, I don't have the series stuff as it came without the engine.

Do I need to do anything with clutch etc to make it fit to the series gearbox?

Hi there I've just got a 2.5na for my series 3 and I've noticed the outer rim on the crank pulley has a few chips out of it,so before I start to take the front end out to measure things up I need to change said pulley,are these pulleys universal fitment is my question please?

ey up folks just after a few pointers please, I've got a 2.5na to put in my lwb series 3,there was no 2.25 engine in it when I got it so at the minute I have a empty space under the bonnet, my engine choice probably won't impress most folks but hey ho it's my green machine so my questions are...

If a series 2.25 has started to chuck oil out of the rocker breathers and oil filler is that due to the rings been worn?or maybe just blockages in the crank breathers?

hi im just in process of geting my grubby mitts on a series 3 minus the diesel engine, i was going to put my spare v8 in but ive decided to get a standard 2.25 into it,if anyone can help me locate that would be great. chris

What are the standard engines like? Someone told me them 2.2 diesel are poor that's all. I have the v8 spare from my Hotrod stash so was going to put that into it, to be honest it will be just used through the bad weather to make sure I get to see my kids on a weekend and something to take them...
