took it for its mot all the new shiny things confused the tester so he passed her,going to take her for a celebratory drink and fill the fuel tank:D:D:D:D

just an update IT PASSED mind i had replaced rear pads and discs new track rod ends anti roll bars and new brake pipes ,think all the shiny stuff on a 95 disco confused the tester:D:D:D:D

Well an hour to go to see what we'll fail on this time:(

bought a new set of brake caliper seals for a 300 tdi (95)but cant seem to get the final ring in the groove on the caliper has anyone had this prblem before? or would i be as well leaving it off?

found a whacking great hole in rear wheel arch hant noticed it as i dont get in back door:(:(:(:(

brother in law has replaced fuel sender on his 200tdi but since then he is getting erratic fuel readings,could it be a dodgy earth or something more sinister any help guys would be appreciated

now that the weathers changed i'm working my way through my to do list next on the agenda is the towing electrics namely the auxilliary ,,,,,,,does any one fancy giving me some advice on where the electris from the socket join and what colour wire goes where? its factory fitted but never seems...

scrap that just looked on manual yup it is,,,,,,,,with it not being connected properly would this cause problems with the abs light?

just out of curiosity whilst looking for central locking ecu i noticed a big silver block ecu type thing next to the cl ecu with a large plug connected to it,,,,i did notice this plug wasnt properly connected i'm thinking its something to do with the abs am i correct?

any suggestions as to what to do next then it is an early 300tdi and i,ve just found black box with co ax type plug!!!!!!!!looking in wrong place
