    Commercial use of a 90

It definitely would be! There's a specific link to the use of a 90 in the reason for the tours though, can't say much without giving the idea away, not that anyone else would actually be daft enough to consider it though. It may just be too daft but I'll run the possibilities before...

    Commercial use of a 90

Thanks for the replies guys. I wouldn't be doing fares as such, they'd be organised, pre-booked tours and there was a specific reason for using the 90 but I realise that it limits me on numbers and space. I'm trying to factor in whether the limited numbers on each 'hire' will justify the expense...

    hi there guys

Cheers. I'll have a gander at their site then.

    hi there guys

Yep, the old GPZs are expensive now, so's a Z in good nick. Z650s are still more expensive than the Z750 - they were always mooted as the better bike. I did look at a few Zephyrs as well but they seemed a bit tame compared to my old Z. :D Always did like Mad Max - the original, not the new...

    hi there guys

Probably really kill meself on a Bandit lol! Always said I'd not go above 750. I could pick my Zed up (weighed a fecking ton!) and figured that would be about my limit (girly see, lol). I have wandered into bike shops and the guys try to convince me I'd get the same (better) torq, better...

    hi there guys

Nope, it's a 30 year old Kwaka Z750, not the Kwak Zephyr. The old Zeds at that age were built like flying bricks with a blockier tank etc., as originals. That's a Z650 tank, tailpiece and side panels on it to give it more fluid lines, Kuoni shocks, 4 into 1 etc. Kind of midnight black paint job...
  9. RogueTrooper

    hi there guys

This was my last baby. 30 year old Z750 with a few mods. I squished it (and nearly myself) on the A68 September before last, absolutely gutted. Had spent the day before polishing and cleaning ready for a run up to North of Scotland and had just spent a fair few quid on replacing a substantial...

    D1 300TDI on vegetable oil?

This is from the HMRC website link I posted above: "This notice explains the legal definitions of biofuel products, Excise Duty rates and the roles and responsibilities of producers (and in some cases, users) of these products." And if you read the extract above it says specifically used, not...

    D1 300TDI on vegetable oil?

Nope, seems to be veg oil as well Dippy. HMRC refers to it as biofuel and other fuel substitutes: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/excise-notice-179e-biofuels-and-other-fuel-substitutes "Other fuel substitutes Any liquid that is not hydrocarbon oil, biodiesel, bioblend, bioethanol...

    D1 300TDI on vegetable oil?

If you use less than 2500 litres per year then you don't have to pay duty. Have a look at this site for some useful info: http://www.vegoilcar.co.uk/faq.php

    D1 300TDI on vegetable oil?

As far as I know it's not illegal to run your vehicle on veg oil. Dunno about the 300tdi specifically but the 200tdi will run happily on 50:50. Just lower the ratio of veg oil to diesel or biodiesel in colder weather and check your filters regularly. Can be useful to have 2 tanks and run on...

    hi there guys

Maybe "I'm also a roofer and tree feller" is a euphemism for summat else! o_O :D Are those the same tree fellers that stood on the building site all day wondering what the hell to do when the foreman brought down some new shovels and told 'em to take their pick?:D

Thanks for that Cabbie. Do you have to take any kind of additional test for up to 8 people and is there a vehicle inspection over and above MOT requirements? Cheers ta. :)
