Hi may seem obvious but have you got it in gear when trying to turn the rear wheel ?:)

have you tried putting the spare on at least that would eliminate a problem with the tyre or rim

Hi I had exactly the same as this and it was the front diff bush that had gone jack a rear wheel up and move it and you will see the diff move if this is the case hope you get it sorted Gordon:)

How about magnetic signs crewbiker that is what i use on mine benefit you can still drive like a cock when you take them off:D

Hi You go for it I love my td4 it is economical nice to drive and if it does go wrong you just dig out the rave cd or post on here and and with a bit of learning and determination you will soon be back on the road wish you well with your freelander hunt :)

Hi my bet would be on the inhibitor that prevents the engine starting while a gear is engaaged all automatics have them so may be worthwile having a look at the wiring make sure nothing has been dislodged if not suspect the inhibitor switch itself Gordon:)

I use my td4 for work everyday and i love it :) the back bone of Britian move over transits :D

Sounds more like an elecrical connection problem if fault has escalated by disturbing the back door card as they are all connected pay you to check wiring / connections:)

hi Guys have a freelander td4 brakes work great most of the time but now and again when you push the foot break it feels like there is no servo there it is a very intermitent problem but is unnerving any ideas would be gratefully recieved thanks Gordon
