    Hi Guys has any one ever come across a siezed vcu breaking something in the diff mine seems to be making a very deep throaty grumbling noise when turning hard i have changed the vcu which has made it better but still there i noticed when i changed the vcu with both rear wheels off the ground...

    Have you had the top off ? if so you may have kinked the seals when you put the top back on mine has never been a bit of bother and we have certainly had some rain :eek: Good luck

    May be worth changing the transmission fluid if you dont know when it was last changed this can throw up all sorts of problems Good luck and let us know :)

    Sounds like it could be the vcu do the test jack up one rear wheel engine off in first gear and see if you can turn the wheel do a search on line for other tests loads on here good luck Gordon:)

    The only reason for the chamfer is to allow for wear in the discs so if they work ok no squeal then you have nothing to worry about if they do then simply put a chamfer on :)

    Second that O.P could also check the fuel filter depending on the mileage also recomened millers sport fuel additive worked wonders with mine :)
