Hi I have bought two cylinders for the landy today, £35 for the two, with the VAT, from landranger services, Lockhead ones, so should be ok, not the cheaper ones, that save you about a fiver! Arrange a night to fit thee, then it should hopefully be ok, fingers crossed! Cheers Dave

Your mask, if it is a solar one should charge up whilst welding, as welding is UV light. I have a speedglass, great masks, cost a bit,but I get them bough for me, as I do welding as part ofmy work. Cheers Dave

Hi They seem to be ok, but then again, if it does pull to the left I can do the others, no problem, as I am not using it everyday, your probably right though! My luck allmost garentees it! You see people messing with seals, I can't understand scrimping on things like brakes etc. Cheers...

Hi Right, the oil seems clean, so no signs of water, from a head gasket problem, I switch the engine/ignition off, and it drops to cold on the guage, and the ignition on, and it creeps back up, slowly. The top hose isn't hard, from a head gasket fault. the fan won't turn without the belt...

Hi I found the Land Rover was running just under the red on the temperature Guage, I would have thought it should be half way up the normal bit, shouldn't it? What are the reasons for it being high, is it a radiator problem? Can you add an electric fan, would this help? The Land Rover...

Don't go too strong either with the antifreeze as there is a point where it gets too strong, and stops working so well. I had it 50.50 mix and it seemed to be very good on the refractometer, but wouldn't go any stronger personally. That was good to -55. hehe Was nearly tested last winter...

Hi You should find any change in light reaching the cells will darken it, but then if it is not bright/uv enough it will change clear again, hence waving your hand in front. Give it a go with your welder, close your eyes, when arc - ing, then open them straight after, you should see it...

Pure vinagar with dishwasher liquid, thats meant to be quite good! I personally in the past, just left the hose running through it for half an hour, each way, that admitantly was not on a landrover, but an older vehicle, with a bigger radiator. Cheers Dave
