Hi all, have had my new (to me) disco 2 v8 for a few days now and love it!!! But can't help but notice that the electric fan cuts in all the time, have searched through old posts and it has become apparent that the electric fan is pro dominantly for the air con, but one my air con doesn't work...

Just read my original post and my wording isn't great!!!! It sits down when not running over a period of poss 3-4 hrs, the noise I can hear at the compressor is when engine is off.

Thanks for reply, compressor it's self seems to work fine as it cuts straight in and pumps the suspension up with ease, also would presume if it's a height sensor it wouldn't come up when fired up? Think possibly the solenoid in the compressor is sticking or leaking etc, might have to strip it...

Morning all, this is my first ever post so please be bear with me!! I have just bought a disco 2 with air suspension and was told it had a leaking spring, this did not bother me as have changed them on other peoples disco's and know it's an easy job, so...changed both bags (used genuine Dunlop)...
