Ifully understand its in hi or low if it moves forward but display is saying transfer box neutral,i cant get reverse gear at all.

so why no reverse gear?would this be an internal box fault,rac could not sort it and really had no idea,said needs going to garage to diagnose.

Am wondering if its transfer box motor fault or something more serious.

Had rac out to it just,can not get reverse gear,drives forward in neutral and in reverse,no reverse-coming up transfer box in neutral,if I flick high-low it jumps back/clunks back,triedadjusting cable on side of box,still no reverse.

yes it says transfer box neutral,goes forward when I select reverse.

l322,td6.after a visit to local shop(20 miles away)car drove fine,no faults.came out shop and no drive,tried again and drove,but would not change gear,got car home and now I have no reverse,if I select reverse it goes forward,any info/help appreciated,its a 2005 car,only had 6 months.is box...
