So I just got my heated seats wired up into my hardy 90 soft top. The electrician that did it installed a bank of 5 switches and put the seats on the outer two meaning I have 3 empty ones in the middle. What cool stuff can I add to the beast? :D

Is it a Puma bonnet, mine's a 95 reg but obviously a rebuilt one-off? Gotta ring around today and try and find a replacement and as it's not a standard looking one that sort of information is useful. Given the shape of mine is it a special type or just a standard puma?

They're definitely not generating heat. Left them on for 15 minutes and felt nothing. Gonna try the other seat which will either confirm we've done something wrong or both seats are bollocksed. I'm a bit reluctant to start ripping the seats apart to be honest.

My seats are the same ones as in the link I provided. Not sure of the model or manufacturer.

Oh and I wondered how easy it would be to strip the seats down and take the elements out and test them externally, though if I do that I'm worried I won't be able to secure everything back to how is was before I started.
