    Hi chaps just wondered would a 30-135 amp mig be ok for use on an old lightweight s3?? I have read that you need 150 amps to do chassis repairs is there any truth in this? Ta lads I'm off for a :tea:

    We'll just had a look and the sender is for a triumph rather than a Landy. Not very happy with Johnson's. They should do a change over shouldn't they??

    The part number on the box is 52770. I've had a look on paddocks there one is part number 560794!!! Got it from AT Johnson's in downham £14.70!!!!! I think I might be taking it back to be honest

    Hi joe the resistance cold with the engine running was 0.47 and after running for about 10mins it went down to 0.04-0.03. The readings I took were with the multimeter set on 2K. The sender is band new though!! Do they come faulty?? It seems to be a common problem. That aside where a bouts in...

    Guys my temp gauge wasn't working so I changed the sender. Hey presto up went the gauge and it continued!!:mad: its a 2.25 diesel in a lightweight. I can only think that the sender is for the petrol unless they are both the same:confused:

    Fuel gauge working fine although a bit lazy. Right hand head lamp not working on dip and not as bright as the other on beam. Might just be bad bulbs!!

    Well that's the panel lights and I think the head lights sorted (can't tell as the sun is shining) but they seem to be roughly the same. Just need to see what happens with the temp gauge? How do you test a sender for the tmp anyway??

    Hi chaps finally took the plunge and got a Landy. Only thing is it has a few probs. right hand head lamp very dull as is the side light. The panel lights don't work but I did have them going for a few mins. And last but not least the temp gauge for water or oil don't work (it's a diesel)...
