Massive help needed pls. 94Disco, diesel. Went for a bit of a bimble o/r up some mountain tracks, nothing nasty but steep all the way, Low ratio using 1,2,3 gears all the way up and 2nd gear down. No problems. Back on the highway heading home, uphill, High ratio in 3rd gear, no apparent...

Exactly the same symptons, changed the inlet manifold gasket and now the needle on the gauge doesn't move off the middle once warmed up, thrown monstrous hills at it and all fine. Bulls, whinch and lamps in place. Injector pump tuned up, still a bit smoky tho.
