If it's you jai, then you'll probably get to within 25-35 feet of the back of it safely!! With a bigger vehicle and a less experienced driver, I doubt you'll get it any further than the corner where the hard standing stops...

Spyderman and Jack... I think the best plan will be to drive it as far as the hardstanding ends, then just park up.. We are literally just off that by 50-100m so we can walk it and assess.... As long as you come in from the widdington - cornells lane entrance you'll be fine up to the bit where...

Well spotted spyderman! That's exactly what's happened... Except the traction is shocking once the hard surface runs out 100m or so before we got stuck! Yeah we think the only way is thru the field...

There only appears to be mud and grass in the field at the moment...

It's a 300tdi disco on all terrains. no winch except a now well used Tirfor style hand puller. Easiest and safest recovery due to steep bank, slippy mud and trees is through the farmers field we did find a local with a tractor but yet to track down the land owner for permission. Ben (benjyp)
