Hello! I have seen a chassis on ebay Land Rover Defender PUMA 90 Galvanised Chassis on eBay (end time 29-May-10 19:59:41 BST) which is the cheapest I have seen. I have a 1991 2.5 n/a petrol defender 90 and in future would be looking to put in a discovery 200tdi, would this chassis do the job...

Hello! I just bought an A bar second hand just to phone up my insurer and be told it is now illegal to fit. I have been looking all around and get conflicting answers, can anyone help? I have a 1991 Defender 90 if that helps. Thank you! :doh:

I guess I am not with any specific insurer that deals with land rovers, I am with direct line, they do a good price though :) but are stingy with mods and anything even slightly difficult for them

also another good one i always use is paddock spares. you can get a steel rim for around £30 up and then a tyre for around £60 up. So I could get a brand new set of 4 tyres and 4 steels for around £400 which isn't too bad I guess

lol, there are still so few on auction sites and usually always pickup only from a million miles from where I live, but that lr mail order site isn't bad :D
