    What a crap design

The window regulator cables usually rot through as they are only poor quality multi strand galvanised steel wire which absorb moisture in between the strands. Freelanders are not the only vehicles to suffer with this problem and I make new cables in stainless steel which will last indefinately.

    misted front headlights

Mines the same but the drivers side. I have tried removing headlight and drying with hair dryer through bulb hole but within a few days it has started to mist up again. I have just given up now for the time being.

    rusty freelander

Never seen a rotten one yet, only small amounts of surface rust and I strip them down to the bare shell running a Freelander parts business.

Hi, how many miles has it done?

Just bought a modded Freelander TD4... seems to have no front PropShaft!

Freelanders don't have a front propshaft like other LR vehicles. They have a pair of driveshafts from the gearbox and IRD unit.

    Discovery II suspension problem

I had exactly the same problem on Monday after towing my Ifor Williams trailer. After unhitching and raising the suspension and hitching up again it has been fine.
